As many of you know I opposed previous job cuts and the closure of the immigration court at Bennett House. Therefore it is welcome news that 500 jobs are to be created as the first Court and Tribunals Service Centre is opened.

If these will be secure, well paid civil service jobs then it will be a good thing for the city. It is a lot of jobs but we have to wonder whether they are new or just replacing another.
