I am shocked to hear today’s announcement that Dudson has gone into administration and that 310 jobs have been lost in the city.

This comes days after the announcement of staff redundancies at Wedgwood.

GMB will now pursue a protective award on behalf of members due to the company’s failure to consult, and I will continue to liaise with the union throughout this process.

This is another huge blow to the potteries and our historic industry.
