HMRC investigating Solarplicity – Consumers deserve answers!

My office is flooded with complaints from local residents about their dealings with Solarplicity and the unnecessary stress and aggravation suffered by many local consumers.

So I was shocked to uncover that in addition to significant failings in customer service, additional reports in the press that OFGEM are enforcing Solarplicity to pay outstanding money owed to Feed-in Tariff (FiT) generators, there is now evidence that HMRC have issued winding up orders against companies linked to Solarplicity.

I have raised this information with the Council – who were UNAWARE of this action!

I’m calling on the company to explain why HMRC are issuing winding up orders against associated companies and offer assurances about the financial position of Solarplicity moving forward.

I strongly believe in clean and affordable energy – but it’s important for local residents to have confidence in the organisations that they are working with. Sadly at the moment this isn’t the case.
