I had the pleasure of attending a British Tyre Manufacturers Association exhibition last week in which local employers Michelin were part.

The exhibition focussed on ‘remanufacturing’ – the process of taking a used product, in this case, tyres, and returning it to the standard of a newly manufactured product. From a customers perspective, it can be considered to the same standard as a newly manufactured tyre in both quality and the warranty provided.

It was exciting to hear of the opportunities remanufacturing presents both to the economy and to the environment, saving raw materials. 🌳
