Small businesses are the lifeblood of any town and city. They contribute to the economy by creating jobs and provide us with services, whilst keeping the money spent in the local economy.

I am very disappointed to hear that the Conservative and Independent Council are aiming to demolish Gordon House, where four of Stoke-on-Trent’s small businesses are currently located. Sangam, Baby Russets and Thalii restaurants are all set to be demolished as well as He & She Hair Fashions who have cumulatively been trading for 75 years on the site.

I have signed the petition put forward by Cllr Andy Platt below calling for the council to halt plans to demolish Gordon House and instead spend the money on investment in Stoke Town centre.

I hope you will join me by adding your name to the petition below 👇
