Tory-led Stoke-on-Trent City Council plans to cut classroom budgets by £14.5 million over the next 4 years as part of its higher need recover plan.

Headteachers across our city are opposed to the plan and it’s time the Department for Education stood up for schools, listened to their very real concerns and stopped the budget cuts.

Here’s my question to Education Ministers from earlier today
