Gareth Snell Labour and Co-operative Candidate for Stoke-on-Trent Central
This week at the Public Accounts Committee, I questioned NHS officials about NHS Property Services, which represents around 12% of the whole NHS estate.
It was clear from this session that the Department of Health and NHS England frankly set NHS Property Services a herculean task to manage this amount of properties successfully with the resources they have. The Lansley reforms are still having a marked impact on our health service today and this is not good for patients or the taxpayer.
