Really pleased to wave off the junior runners at the “Pretty Muddy” charity event at Central Forest Park last Sunday. Hundreds of people who have been affected by cancer came together to take on the 5K challenge in pretty poor weather conditions to raise a staggering £65,000 for Cancer Research UK.

This is such an important cause. Cancer affects all of us – whether it be directly or indirectly – and the research and work Cancer Research UK do day in, day out, to both support people living with cancer and to find cures for cancers is invaluable.

Well done to all of the competitors who took part. It was really lovely to have been able to present some of the participants with medals after they’d completed the course!
