VOTE LEE POLSHAW FOR PENKHULL AND STOKE on THURSDAY 1st JULY 2021
Residents in Penkhull and Stoke will be asked to choose a new Councillor on Thursday July 1st 2021.
I will be voting in this election and will be using my vote for Lee Polshaw. Lee is a local woman who, with her husband Andy, has lived in Princes Road for 15 years. Ever since it’s creation in 2011, Penkhull and Stoke has elected an independent councillor but for the last 6 years, the so-called independent worked as part of a Conservative-led coalition.
So much of my work as our MP was dealing with local council matters that were being ignored by the local councillors – everything from potholes and pavements, through litter and fly-tipping and up to missed bin collections. These are all issues which can and should be resolved by local councillors and that is why I am voting for Lee.
I know Lee cares about Penkhull and Stoke. It is her home. The chances are that if it matters to us, it will matter to her and she will want to get it fixed. We need more people like Lee on our Council, putting their local neighbourhoods ahead of party politics and standing up for what is right rather than doing what is easy.
So, if you live in Penkhull, Stoke or Harplands by the hospital – please go out and vote on Thursday 1st July and use your vote for Lee Polshaw.
