The news emanating from Christchurch in New Zealand this morning is unfathomable.
My heart goes out to those who have been directly affected by this atrocity. Innocent men, women and children have been murdered whilst peacefully practising their religion and they won’t be returning home to their families.
New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has rightly called this one of her countries ‘darkest days’ and my thoughts are with those in the Christchurch community who are having to deal with the aftermath of such a horrific event.
