A decent wage, secure hours and the right to union representation in the workplace. These are the demands of McDonalds, Wetherspoons, TGI Fridays, Uber Eats and Deliveroo workers out on strike today.

It’s appalling that in the 21st Century these rights are not afforded to every worker. I fully support the difficult decision taken by workers to take industrial action and would urge others to support their action today and respect picket lines.
