Supporting the ‘Freedom from Fear’ campaign

This morning, I went to the Co-op in Penkhull to meet with Debra who works there and Paul from Usdaw Union to discuss Usdaw’s ‘Freedom from Fear’ campaign.
A survey conducted by Usdaw in conjunction with this campaign has revealed the shocking statistics that 6 in 10 retail workers have faced abuse at work, 37% threatened and 230 assaulted every day.
Every worker should feel safe in their workplace, able to work without fear of verbal abuse, threats and violence.
