I am deeply concerned by today’s announcement from Wedgwood regarding job losses. Stoke-on-Trent has a proud history of producing world-class pottery and it is shocking to see this localised heritage be disregarded and have production move elsewhere or stop all together.

I share the concerns raised by GMB, and fully support their input into discussions in the near future. It is vital that we protect our industries and workers at the heart of the Potteries.
