This morning, I highlighted a case from my consituency in Westminster Hall to show how easy it is for legislation to not address smaller cases of modern day slavery.

The Co-operative Party continue to do important work around this issues, but I have called on the Minister to consider why victims of modern day slavery cannot self -refer into support mechanisms, as they are not always protected under the Modern Slavery Act. It is vital that we ensure someone of the most vunerable people in our society can get the help they need.
