£3.5 billion of Pension Credit does not reach the older people it is supposed to help and despite knowing this, the Government has failed to take adequate action. With one in six UK pensioners currently living in poverty, and a predicted 2,192 entitled households not claiming up to £5,129,119 in pension credits in Stoke-on-Trent Central. it’s time to take action.
