I strongly support UNISON’s ‘one wage – for any age’ campaign that would guarantee the same minimum wage for every worker whatever their age.

Younger workers are often targeted to pay higher costs for things such as car insurance yet are discriminated against in their pay because of their age.

A future Labour government will legislate for a minimum wage of £10, whatever your age, to give people dignity in work and guarantee a fair day’s wage for a fair day’s work.
