Solarplicity and TOTO Energy have announced that they have come to an agreement to transfer the majority of Solarplicity retail consumers to TOTO Energy.
This comes just days after a delay in proceedings to four winding up orders against Solarplicity, and after I voiced my concerns about the viability of the company.
This is yet another worrying moment for local consumers who have had to put up with appalling customer service, many of them have already been in touch with my office.
I am told that TOTO Energy are in the process of contacting affected consumers and plan to transfer accounts in the first and second weeks of August.
I’ll be pursuing more information on behalf of local residents and will of course continue to update constituents when I know more. I won’t stop fighting for local consumers to get them the justice and apologies that they deserve.
