Gareth Snell Labour and Co-operative Candidate for Stoke-on-Trent Central
This morning I joined officers from around Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire on ‘Operation Disrupt’ executing warrants against individuals who are known to be undertaking criminal activity. Staffordshire Police are stretched as a result of budget cuts but it was good to see tough measures being taken against those who commit crimes in our communities. Staffordshire Police work incredibly hard across Stoke-on-Trent to keep us safe and today was a great demonstration of their commitment to our City. My postbag and inbox is often filled with complaints about drug use, antisocial behaviour and criminal activity, so knowing that the Police take each and every complaint seriously is very welcome.
