The UK is set to lose 10% of it’s pubs over the next 5 years, with two closing in Stoke-on-Trent Central in the last year alone.

Our pubs face a huge tax burden with beer duty in the UK three times the EU average. Pubs are at the heart of our communities, which is why I am calling on the Chancellor to cut beer tax to help support them.
