Stoke-on-Trent Central is home to 70,000 people and the City Centre and yet as a direct result of Conservative cuts, we have no publicly accessible police station.

The nearest police station is in Longton and even that is closed at weekends, on bank holidays and after 5pm.

We’ve been deserted by our Police and Crime Commissioner who has closed our police stations and cut hundreds of police officers from our streets.

And the result is clear.

Crime is up. Streets feel unsafe and too many crimes go unsolved.

That is why I am campaigning to reopen a police station in Stoke-on-Trent Central. We deserve to have a safe place in the heart of our city.
